A dental implant that can be tightly fixed to the bone in the oral cavity, even when the bone is short of the quantity necessary for implantation, by securing the necessary quantity by forming new bones, wherein the fixture comprises a combination of a number of members with freely adjustable lengths. More specifically, a preferable member is one composed of a tubular outer member having an internal thread and, integrally screwed thereinto, a rod-shaped inner member having an external thread. New bones are formed around the implant by continuously stimulating the mucous membrane by embedding the implant in the bone and lifting the membrane by lengthening the members.
