An ice cream prod. in the form of a uniform sphere consists of a frosted ice cream section (2) which is spherical and surrounded by a solidified sleeve material (4). A granulate material(s) is applied to the outside of the sleeve. The granulate pref. consists of almond or hazelnut splitters, chocolate or coconut.
