PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of a novel solar cell using ZnTe-MgTe solid solution having large spectral transmittance in a window layer. CONSTITUTION: A light absorbing layer 2 of n-type (or p-type) semiconductor, a light absorbing layer in which ZnX-MgX solid solution is a main body, a window layer 3 of semiconductor having opposite conductivity type to that of the light absorbing layer, and a transparent conductive layer 4 are sequentially disposed on a board having an electrode layer or a metal board 1 having electrode properties. |
