PURPOSE:To increase stability with lapse of time of generated shear stress by prepg. an electroviscous fluid compsn. by dispersing particles consisting of aziridine compd. polymer and/or its crosslinked product in an insulating dispersion medium. CONSTITUTION:The electroviscous fluid compsn. is prepd. by dispersing particles consisting of aziridine compd. polymer and/or its crosslinked product and having preferably 0.1-500mum particle size in the insulating dispersion medium. As aziridine compd., ethylene imine, propylene imine, N-hydroxyethylene imine, etc., are exemplified. As the insulating dispersion medium, electrically insulating liq. having >=10<9>OMEGAcm electric resistance such as halogenated benzene, etc., is suitable. The ratio of aziridine compd. polymer, etc., to the insulating dispersion medium is preferably 5-400pts.wt. polymer, etc., to 100pts.wt. insulating dispersion medium. |
