PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily increase the earthquake-resistance in a low cost, by reinforcing the structure of a house in advance with carbon fiber sheets before the external wall materials are executed when the house is newly built. SOLUTION: This carbon fiber is made of acrylic fiber, cellulose fiber, polyvinyl alcohol fiber, pitch fiber, etc., as the raw material and treated with thermal oxidation crosslinking reaction to obtain a fire-resistant fiber or a nonmelt fiber and further, treated with heat to produce this fiber. And the carbon fiber is arranged in one direction and pregnated with epoxy resin or styrene butadien rubber or the like to form a carbon fiber sheet. The corners of a structure constituted of columns and beams for instance in a newly erected house, are diagonally connected to each other with the carbon fiber sheets and both ends thereof are bonded together or fixed with an adhesive like epoxy resin, acrylic resin, polyamide resin, etc., or metallic tools. And further a wet or dry external wall construction work is executed in an ordinary way and then a paint is applied on the inner and outer wall faces. |
