<p>PURPOSE: To provide an automatic handler with an IC transferring device providing an identification data on a carrier with an IC socket and not supplying an IC only to a defective IC socket. CONSTITUTION: A supply device 1 discriminates a carrier 4 and supplies an IC to the carrier 4 in accordance with IC supply position setting against a discriminated carrier number. A measuring device 2 discriminates the carrier 4, receives IC transport position information against the discriminated carrier 4 from the supply device 1 and measures the IC of the carrier 4. A defective IC socket is detected from a measured result, and when the defective IC socket is detected, defective IC socket position information is communicated to the supply device 1, and the IC supply position setting is changed so that an IC is not supplied to the defective IC socket. A storage device 3 discriminates the carrier 4, receives the IC measured result against the discriminated carrier 4 from the measuring device 2 and classifies and stores the IC of the carrier 4.</p> |
