MULTICASTING TRANSMISSION SYSTEM OF ETHERNET SYSTEM

摘要

The multi-casting transmission unit transmits data rapidly to a group receiver in case of multi-casting transmission by local area network and counts packets received by the group receiver in packet transmission. The unit includes : a serial/parallel transformer(3) for transforming first two bits of the destination address of input data packet into the parallel data; a destination address latch units(4)(5) of current and next packet; an address comparator(6) generating control signal to a ether net interface controller; and a counter(7) counting the packet number of the data by the output of the comparator(6).
