PURPOSE: To realize mass-production by a method wherein quality is enhanced and, at the same time, reuse is made possible by a method wherein the release properties of an electro-plate layer are enhanced without causing the increase of cost and manufacturing processes and prevent the electro-plate from being broken and its shape from fluctuating. CONSTITUTION: In a plating master, the wall surface 14 of each one of a plurality of depressed parts 16 has the surface roughness of 0.2μm or less. In order to manufacture the platting master, a plurality of depressed parts 16, the bottom of each of which is opened, are formed on a plate-like electrically conductive member 14 in a predetermined pattern and, after that, the wall surface 14A of each depressed part 16 is electrolytically finished so as to control its surface roughness.
