PURPOSE: To provide a facsimile equipment in which other available function divides among plural number of function sections than a faulty function section are used to execute an executional job at any time. CONSTITUTION: A system management table 2' stores data showing states (standby state, busy state, faulty state, deficient expendables, or occurrence of trouble on paper feed) of each of functions 2 to 9 of the facsimile equipment 1. A diagnostic means diagnoses each function section based on data stored in the management table 2'. A data rewrite means rewrites the data in the management table 2' based on the result of diagnosis of the diagnostic means. Through such a constitution, the state including the presence of a fault of each function section is always grasped and when a fault takes place in a function section among the function sections, the execution of a job requiring the use of the faulty function section is stopped and jobs using the other function sections are executed at any time. |
