CONSTITUTION: When a variable magnification synthesis button 809 is depressed after the variable power factor is set by a key to designate the variable power factor such as a magnification, reduction or unmagnification key 801 and a zoom key 807, etc., on the control panel 800 of an operating part 702, a set variable power factor is stored in memory, and it goes to N=N+1. In such a case. when it is H=0, an ordinary copy operation is performed. When it is N≠0, the variable power factor stored in the memory are re-arranged in sequence to make a varied copy image magnify. An operation to vary an original image centering around the upper left terminal part of the original image by the variable power factor in re-arranged sequence and to store it in an image storage part 706 is performed for N times, and the copy image stored in the image storage part 706 is recorded on a recording part 707.
