<p>PURPOSE: To provide a piezoelectric element, in which a surface electrode constituting a signal take-out electrode and an external lead-out electrode are connected and electrically conducted in a stabilized manner and a depolarization at a piezoelectric ceramic body never occurs, and an acceleration sensor constituted of the element, and a manufacturing method for the element. CONSTITUTION: The piezoelectric element has signal take-out electrodes 1 formed on confronting main surfaces of a plate-like piezoelectric ceramic body 3. An internal electrode 2 is embedded in the piezoelectric ceramic body 3. Each signal take-out electrode 1 is obtained by laminating surface electrodes 4 of a thick film formed separately at every position corresponding to central parts 6a, 7a and end parts 6b, 7b parted in the longitudinal direction of the piezoelectric ceramic body 3 and, a connection electrode 5 of a thin film covering the surface electrodes 4 formed on the same main surface.</p> |
