<p>PURPOSE: To improve the retaining performance of a tray, prevent its deformation and improve the rigidity of a case itself by a method wherein the folding parts projecting inwardly of a case are formed at a plurality of places of side boards, and an outwardly projecting flange around the peripheral edge of the opening part of the tray placed in the packaging case is inserted and secured between the upper face of the folding parts and a top panel. CONSTITUTION: A deep bowl-like tray 33 is contained in a case body 1 in an arbitrary step of the fabrication process of the case body 1 and an outwardly projecting flange 34 formed around the peripheral edge of the opening part is inserted and secured between the stepped parts 35 made up by inwardly folding corner webs 19 and others toward the rear face of a top panel 2 for formation into an inverted letter V and the rear face of the top panel 2. Therefore, the packaging case 1 has an improved effect of retaining the tray 33 by the support of a bottom board 3 and side faces 12 and by the additional support of the top panel 2 and the upper faces of folded parts 38. By forming the folded parts 38 using the side faces 12, the rigidity is improved and the possibility of deformation is lessened.</p> |
