<p>The invention relates to a device making it possible to connect a module (44) with a memory and/or a microprocessor to a data processing machine, without the necessity for a connector and/or a specific interface circuit, while preserving the portable aspect of such a module. The main characteristic of the invention resides in the fact that the device moreover constitutes a pointing peripheral (47, 48, 49) such that, in a preferred embodiment, a mouse and the electronic circuits of the device are arranged to use common conductors (RXD, TXD, RTS, DTR) between the machine and the device so as to permit use of the pointing functions and use of the functions of the module. <IMAGE></p> |
