PURPOSE: To provide a UV ray lamp the diameter of which is made small, the whole length of which is made short and also the length of the tube of which is made long so as to enable to serve a sufficient sterilization work. CONSTITUTION: A tube constituting a shell of the UV ray lamp 1 is formed from a quartz glass-made double bore tube P with a bottom which has two mutually parallel cavities B along the axial direction, and the two cavities B are made to communicate with each other on the bottom part of the double bore tube, and electrodes 3 are respectively inserted into the two cavities B at an opening port side of the double bore tube P. |
