PURPOSE:To obtain an image processor capable of accurately discriminating and recognizing an image which is shifted, rotated and deformed, such as enlarged or reduced, at high speed. CONSTITUTION:The image information of an inputted substance worked to invariant information by Fourier-transforming and coordinate transforming the image by means of a Fourier transformation optical system 1 and a coordinate transformation optical system 2 and shifting, rotating and deforming, such as enlarging or reducing, the image is instantaneously fetched as plural pieces of spatial frequency information the most effective to discriminate its characteristic by a discrimination optical system 3, and further recognized by a neural network being a recognition system 4, so that the image which is shifted, rotated and deformed, such as enlarged or reduced, is accurately discriminated and recognized at high speed. |
