Tester examines small objects, esp. tablets, fed by a device on to a disc (2). Suction holes (4) on one face, hold the tablets firmly on a circular path. On the path of motion there are detectors (32,33), one looking vertically at the disc, and at least one further detector, sighting radially. A further disc has similar suction holes (7) and circular path.The two discs overlap the suction holes (4,7) facing each other, arrive at a transfer point (9) of flush vertical alignment.
