METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PEELING OFF CAP OF WASTE NAS BATTERY

PURPOSE:To provide a method and device capable of simply and surely peeling off the cap of a waste NaS battery without requiring any manual work. CONSTITUTION:A bite device 5 and a click driving device 6 are provided on the side of a chuck device 1 for holding and rotating a waste NaS battery 20. The bite device 5 forms an annular notch in the outer periphery of the cap 21 of the waste NaS battery 20. The click driving device 6 inserts a click 14 into this annular notch, moves it in an axial direction and peel off the cap 21 from the waste NaS battery 20.
