<p>The fixed jaw (2), a metal stamping, has a top extension forming a ceiling fixing foot (23b). Opt. a foot formed on the base (21), supports an under-slung apparatus. A hole (6), near the end of the base, accepts a rivet (37) acting as pivot-pin for the hinged jaw (3), also a stamping, whose upper end (32), approaching a projection (22) on the fixed jaw, closes over the trunking (5) leaving a space (8) for additional cables. The hinged jaw is kept closed by a leaf spring latch (40) secured (42) by a staple (25) formed in the fixed jaw base (21), having turned-down tabs (44, 45) on either side of a rivet clearance hole (43) to immobilise the jaw.
