PURPOSE:To improve printing quality and to make a device compact and inexpensive in a serial type electrophotographic device performing printing by forming a latent image formed into a toner image on recording paper by a recording drum. CONSTITUTION:A carriage 55 is constituted by attaching a processing part 53 and a fixing device 54 to a slide member 52. The slide member 52 and the processing part 53 are movably coupled by a spring 68 and a pin 64b engaged in a slot 63b. The slide member 52 and the fixing device 54 are movably coupled by a spring 73 and a pin 72b engaged in a slot 71b.
