PURPOSE:To make it possible to execute post branching of arbitrary optical fibers in the same fiber ribbon and to easily deal with wirings, etc., to a new telephone subscriber by composing part of the tape coating of the fiber ribbon of a material different from the material of the other parts and removing this different part. CONSTITUTION:Part of the fiber ribbon 1 constituted by protecting the coated optical fibers with the tape coating 3 is composed of the different tape coating 4 consisting of the material which is different from the material of the tape coating 3 of the ordinary part and is easily removable, for example, the different part 5 of the different tape coating 4 consisting of a UV curing type resin.
