This relates to a manufacturing method a of 7beta-(2-(2-aminothiazol-4-yl)-(Z)-2-methoxyiminoacetamido)-3-((1,2,3-thiadiazol-5-yl)thiomethyl)-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid. This compd.. of formula (I) is useful as antibiotics. The manufacturing method comprises :1)making dichlorotriphenylphosphorane by reaction of triphenylphosphine and hexachloroethanol, and reacting with 2-(2-aminothiazol-4-yl)-2-syn-methoxyiminoacetic acid and producing acyloxyphosphonium chloride of (IV); 2)silylating the compd.. of (II); and 3)acylating the compd.. (IV) and silylated (II).
