<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the malfunction of a decoder by inserting a specified pattern data into an arbitrary position of a picture frame (picture field) when the selected picture frame (picture field) is uncontinuous in terms of time. CONSTITUTION:A signal reproducted by an optical pick-up 2 from an optical disk 1 is transnmitted to a reproduction processing equipment 3 and a processing such as amplifying, binarization, error correction, etc. Whole data processed by the reproduction processing equipment 3 is transmitted to a decoder 6 with a multiplexing equipment 5 at the time of normal continuous reproduction. When the selected picture frame (or the picture field) transmitted from the reproduction processing equipment 3 is uncontinuous in terms of time, here, in the multiplexing equipment 5, a system controller 9 controls a pattern generator 4 and a multiplexing equipment 5 and inserts a specified pattern code to the prescribed position. The decoder 6 stops a decoding operation when the specified pattern data is inputted and restarts the decoding operation when another specified pattern data is inputted.</p> |
