PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING MULTICOLOR DISPLAY

A process for manufacturing a multicolor display, whereby a color filter free from defective coloring and defective dimensions is obtained with simpler production steps than conventional ones. The process comprises: (I) the step of setting a mask for forming a desired pattern on a photosensitive resin layer, and exposing a part of a conductive layer through the exposure to light and the development of the resin layer; (II) the step of forming a desired color layer on the exposed conductive layer by electrodeposition; and (III) the step of repeating the steps of (I and II) predetermined times, and removing the remaining photosensitive resin layer by a removing liquid which dissolves preferentially or selectively the resin layer to expose the conductive layer.
