<p>An elastomeric composition for making fibrecontacting covers comprises finely divided ferromagnetic particles dispersed in an elastomer. Specified elastomers are chlorosulphonated polyethylene and butadiene-acrylonitrile while iron and/or iron oxide are the particles. The usual fillers, compounding ingredients vulcanizing and anti-static agents may be present.</p> |
