PURPOSE:To obtain an agent for the treatment of ectopic calcification having high safety and exhibiting remarkable action for suppressing the formation of calcium phosphate precipitate. CONSTITUTION:This agent for the treatment of ectopic calcification contains polyphenol or at least one kind of herb selected from SAISHIN (rhizome of Asiasarum sieboldi), SHOUMA (rhizome of Cimicifuga simplex), BOUFU (root of Ladebouriella seseloides), KANZOU (root of Glycyrrhiza glabra) and RYUTAN (root of Gentiana scabra) or its extract as active component. |
