PURPOSE:To obtain a piezoelectric porcelain composition exhibiting a high electromechanical coupling factor and having improved heat and shock resistances. CONSTITUTION:In the formula of Pba[(NbbYbcCod)eTifZr1-e-f]O3 expressing a composition of metal elements in molar ratios, (a), (b), (c), (d), (e) and (f) satisfy the following relations: 0.95<= (a)<=1.05, 0.40<= (b)<=0.70, 0.05<= (c)<=0.50, 0.05<= (d)<=0.50, 0.05<= (e)<=0.30, 0.40<= (f)<=0.50 and (b)+(c)+(d)=1. A part of Pb is substituted with at least one kind of Ca, Sr and Ba and its substituting amount is preferably <=12% in terms of molar ratio. Further, at least one kind of Mn and Cr is contained in an amount of preferably <=2.0wt.% in terms of an oxide. |
