<p>The present invention relates to a cover for external units of an air conditioning system. The technical field concerned is air conditioning and climatisation in general. This 'cover' is an important improvement with respect to passive anti-weathering protections for the external units themselves of the air-conditioning system, when said external units are disconnected, and is totally complementary to said protections. The cover has a parallelepipedic and symmetrical configuration defined by six planes: an open plane or opening (4), four closed planes and a lowerable plane (5), the latter providing for the outgoing of interconnection tubes and cables (3) of the external unit from any point of the unit without compromising a perfect covering. The cover is provided with self-adhesive closure means (8 and 9) which fix the lowerable plane (5), at its edges, to the remainder of the cover, and girdle and tie-up means in order to complete the closing of the cover, comprising three sets of cords (10, 11 and 12) with tensioning devices (13), arranged as follows: a lower set (10) which surrounds the opening (4) and contained in three hems (14) and two external intermediary higher sets (11 and 12), the three sets of cords coming out through eyelets (16 and 17) of the lowerable plane.</p> |
