4-OXO-1,4-DIHYDRO-QUINOLINE-3-CARBOXYLIC ACID DERIVATIVES AS ANTIBACTERIAL AGENTS

摘要

Novel naphthyridine-, quinoline- and benzoxazinecarboxylic acids as antibacterial agents are described as well as methods for their manufacture, formulation, and use in treating bacterial infections including the description of certain novel intermediates used in the manufacture of the antibacterial agents. The novel compounds have the general fonmula: <IMG> <IMG> or I II wherein R1, R2, X, Y and Z are as defined in the disclosure and claims.
