<p>PURPOSE:To enable normal photographing when abnormality occurs only in a camera movement correcting device. CONSTITUTION:In the camera for correcting camera movement having the camera movement correcting device moving a camera movement correcting lens 11 in a direction nearly perpendicular to an optical axial direction, in order to correct a camera movement caused by vibration, camera movement detecting means 3 and 4 detecting the camera movement, moving amount detecting means 13 and 14 detecting the moving amount of the camera movement correcting lens 11, an abnormality detecting means (CPU1) detecting the fact that the operation of the camera movement correcting device is abnormal based on the output values of the camera movement detecting means 3 and 4 and/or the moving amount detecting means 13 and 14 and a control means (CPU1) sequentially controlling the operation of the camera for correcting camera movement are provided and the control means performs control so as to stop the operation of the camera movement correcting device and performs photographing, when the abnormality of the operation of the camera movement correcting device is detected by the abnormality detecting means.</p> |
