Mixer and kneader for organic masses or dough, consists of a cylindrical housing (1) containing single, or pairs of mixing blades and knives, rotated by a motor at the base. It is open at the top, or access may be gained from a lid on the other side. The inner blade(s) (23,24) or propeller shaped beater knives (20) are e.g. concentric with the outer mixing blade(s) (18,19). They are contra-rotating, the outer blades lifting, the inner blades pulling the charge down. The outer blades (18,19) are spiral, extending along the inner length of the cylindrical mixer wall; they may have plastic lips to perform their function: to glide along the wall, stripping the charge from it. The blades may alternatively be of a type resembling the screw conveyors. |
