SOLAR BATTERY DEVICE AND ITS MANUFACTURE

A shielding layer (14) which reduces the quantity of reflected light from a solar battery (13) emitted to the front side of the solar battery device by diffusing the reflected light is provided on the front side. The layer (14) prevents reflected light from going to the viewer and, therefore, the battery (13) behind the layer (14) is invisible. An optical member (15) which has a specific transmittance in an arbitrary range of wavelengths of incident light from the front side is provided on the front side of the layer (14) and, in addition, a diffusing layer (16) which diffuses the reflected light from the member (15) and allows the light to go to the front side is provided on the front side of the member (15). The layer (16) is inserted so that the reflected light can be seen by the viewer in a uniformly emphatic way. Because of the layer (16), the reflected light from the member (15) can be turned into mellow light having no directivity.
