PURPOSE:To provide a method for manufacturing a plastic sheet for lining wherein the plastic sheet having sufficiently deep irregularities on its one face, a sufficiently uniform thickness in the cross direction and excellent dimensional stability without a heat contractive property can be easily manufactured by the extrusion method. CONSTITUTION:In a plastic sheet manufacturing method wherein a band-like resin from an extrusion mold 2 is passed through three polishing rolls 31-33 and drawn by a drawing roll 5 through a transfer cooling section 4, irregularities are embossed on one face of the band-like resin which is passing through the polishing rolls 31-33 by an embossing roll 7 other than the polishing rolls.
