Shadow mask structure is modified to prevent its thermal deformation, wrinkle formation and howling of the screen. The equipment consists of a shadow mask, a support-frame (5), and a tension-band (23). Shadow mask has grooves(20) around a skirt(15a). The support-frame and tension-band supports and holds the shadow mask, respectively.
