Method for the preparation of high purity substituted benz[e]indoles of general formula (I), consisting in preparing an arylhydrazine which is subjected to a Fischer indole synthesis with a suitable ketone, the benz[e]indole so obtained being reacted with a radical R6, then subjected to a purification step. Application especially in the synthesis of Cardio-Green.
