PURPOSE:To obtain an anti-HIV agent containing a specified phorbol ester derivative as the active component, having a strong anti-HIV effect and low in toxicity. CONSTITUTION:This anti-HIV agent contains a phorbol ester derivative (e.g. 12-dodecanoylphorbol 13-acetate) of the formula [(n) is 5 to 10 as the active component. The active component is administrated preferably in an amount of 100 to 2000 mg/human in the case of oral administration. |
