The invention relates to a method and a device for milling lumps of rubber by means of two rollers (1, 2) which are arranged in a horizontal fashion. The object of the invention is to use simple means to crush rubber lumps to form a flour-like powder with a reduced expenditure of energy. The invention consists in feeding the rubber lumps into the gap between two rollers (1, 2) which are mounted eccentrically with one in the other, in allowing the rollers to rotate with unequal circumferential speed and/or in different directions of rotation, and in disintegrating and crushing the rubber lumps in this process.
