PURPOSE:To effectively take out the only section road map information data presented by the accepted broadcasting signal and to prevent the inconvenience produced by the undesired section road map information data. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a tuner 12 accepting the broadcasting signal which presents the section road map information data accompanied by the section representative position data, buffer memory part 23 storing the section road map information data based on the accepted broadcasting signal, memory part 26 storing the selected section road map information data from the buffer memory part 23, vehicle position detecting part 50 sending the present position data, and control unit 30 storing the distance from the present position represented by the present position data to the section representative position represented by the section representative position data which is shorter than the prescribed distance from among the section road map information data stored in the buffer memory part 23 in the memory part 26. |
