<p>PURPOSE:To tighten or loosen a shoelace by a simple operation such as a rotation, etc., in a shoe having a shoelace. CONSTITUTION:A reel 12 provided with a shoelace 5 is attached to a base plate 11 so as to be freely rotatable, and a ratchet 13 is attached so as to be movable vertically against the base plate 11. In the reel 12, a tooth 21 is provided, and also, in the ratchet 13, a tooth 26 engaged to the tooth 21 is provided. In the direction for detaching the engagement of the tooth 21 of the reel 12 and the tooth 26 of the ratchet 13, a spring 34 for energizing the ratchet 13 is provided. Also, this tightener is provided with a lever 15 for engaging the tooth 21 of the reel 12 with the tooth 26 of the ratchet 13 against the force of the spring 34 or detaching the engagement of the tooth 21 of the reel 12 from the tooth 26 of the ratchet 13 by force of the spring 34.</p> |
