A remote controller for use in various household appliances includes a remote data receiver which generates the data (DATA) by applying input protection flip-flop (22), the address disable generator which generates the address enable signal, the sampling pulse generator which generates the sampling pulses, and the data processor which selectively generates the relay driving signal. The remote data receiver consists of the integrator, the inverter gate (21), the rising edge detector (23), the flip-flop (22), and NAND gate (24). The sampling pulse generator consists of the counter (40), falling edge detector (41), latch (42), inverter (43), and transmission gate (44).
