PURPOSE:To provide a document preparing device and a display control method capable of easily and quickly performing appropriate format change. CONSTITUTION:When a 'format setting' key 44c is pressed, a central control processing part 10 is activated and a mode for setting and changing a format is set. When an area set at a desired part inside a desired page for which the format is set thus for becomes impossible to be contained in the newly set page, conditions are outputted and displayed as layout images on a display part 54. |
