PURPOSE:To automatically detect the entrance and exit of food by coactively arranging a food receiver, an elastic member and a detector in a refrigerator which is placed in a room of a hotel. CONSTITUTION:A pair of receivers 2 having an L-shaped section are attached through a shaft 13 to the bottom plate 15 of an accommodating chamber 7, which is formed in a refrigerator, and has its free end attached to a connecting plate 18 so that it is suspended by means of an elastic member 3. A detector 4 such as a lead switch is arranged therebelow. If a food container or the like is accommodated through an entrance 8 and placed on the receivers 2, these are turned downward by the weight of the container against the elastic member 3, and the connecting plate 18 pushes down a contact 22 to turn on the detector 4 so that the accommodation of the container is detected. If this detection takes place, the receivers 2 restore their positions to turn off the detector 4 so that the exit is detected. |
