PURPOSE:To provide the right and left distortion correcting device in which the arbitrary right and left distortion of a raster can be easily corrected. CONSTITUTION:A parameter for right and left distortion correction peculiar to a CRT is stored in an E<2>PROM 16. This is processed by a DSP 15, an analog voltage 22 obtained by D/A converting the processed result is added to a comparator 23, and compared with a horizontally synchronizing saw-tooth voltage 14. A switch 27 is controlled by the compared result, and the switching of a power source 26 of a horizontal outputting circuit 25 is operated. Thus, the length of a scanning line is adjusted according to raster shape, and the right and left distortion can be removed. |
