<p>PURPOSE:To surely convey paper by constituting a conveying roller of an elastic rubber layer provided on a core metal and a foaming material layer provided in the periphery of the elastic rubber layer, so as to improve torque resistance. CONSTITUTION:A conveying roller 1 is formed by coating on a core metal 2 with a long elastic rubber layer 3 of 1mm or more thickness and a foaming material layer 4 of 3mm or greater thickness in the periphery of the elastic rubber layer 3. It is preferable to form the elastic rubber layer of silicon rubber and the foaming material layer 4 of foaming silicon. When the conveying roller thus formed, in an OA equipment, for instance, a copying machine, is used in a conveying roller for taking out transfer paper from a cassette fed to a transfer process, rotational torque generated between surfaces of the core metal 2 and foaming rubber is absorbed by elastic layers of the elastic rubber and the foaming rubber, to improve torque resistance better than in a structure with a foaming rubber single unit, and paper can be surely conveyed.</p> |
