<p>PURPOSE:To provide a cold cathode type electron gun and the manufacturing method thereof, with which the cleanliness of the electron emission part can be maintained effectively. CONSTITUTION:A filament structure 2 having an electron emission part is formed in such a way that it is electrically insulated from a substrate 1, in a cold cathode type electron gun. At least two electrodes are provided so that the electron emission part provided on the filament structure can be sandwiched therebetween. The electron emission part can be heated by letting current flow between the electrodes.</p> |
