<p>PURPOSE:To improve cargo handling work performance by allowing an optional load to be loaded into the optional position of a load carrying platform and to be taken out from an optional position without unloading loads from the floor face of the load-carrying platform. CONSTITUTION:The load-carrying platform structure of a motor truck has a load-carrying platform 1, a lifter 10 with a gate plate 10a moved vertically between the floor face 1a of the load-carrying platform l and the ground surface, and side gate plates 5 fitted to the load-carrying platform 1 through hinges 7, rotatably so as to be switched into an erected position in relation to the floor face 1a and an open position of being turned over to the outside. Releasable horizontal holding mechanism 12 is provided to support the side gate plate 5 in the horizontally open position where the side gate plate 5 is rotated into the state of being almost flush with the floor face 1a. The side gate plate 5 is thereby held in the horizontally open position, and the upper part of the side gate plate 5 can be used as the outside passage of the load-carrying platform 1.</p> |
