PURPOSE:To provide a production method of a toner carrier body by which a toner carrier body having a layer to generate a small closed electric field with excellent smoothness can be obtd. without using a special means to give external force such as a thermally shrinking tube or a heater roller. CONSTITUTION:A roller-type conductive base body 20 is coated with fiber 23 wound in spiral on the base body 20. The fiber 23 consists of a dielectric fiber part 21 and a conductive fiber part 22. Both fiber parts consist of thermoplastic resin and melt by heat and are welded to each other. Thereby, a smooth layer to generate a small closed electric field can be formed. |
