METHOD FOR THE PROCESSING OF ORGANIC COMPOUNDS This invention provides a method for the detoxification of aqueous solutions of organic compounds utilizing a liquid-phase oxidant such as hydrogen peroxide (aq) or ozone (aq). The aqueous solutions of organic compounds and the liquid-phase oxidant are mixed, then compressed and heated to bring the mixture into a supercritical phase. The oxidation reaction proceeds in the supercritical phase.
