The apparatus for key pad and display includes an image sensor for generating current according to the incidence point of a beam through a upper and lower electrodes, when the beam is projected from a light emitting diode, an LCD for displaying a location determined on the basis of current of the electrode output from the image sensor, and a light filter placed between the image sensor and the LCD, thereby processing lots of data with only one note pad.
