PURPOSE:To provide a method for manufacturing a cross-linked foam and a device therefor wherein a foam having fine bubbles and excellent appearance can be manufactured continuously and stably. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of polyethylene of 100 pts.wt., dicumyl peroxide of 0.5 pts.wt., and azodicarbonamide of 10 pts.wt. is extruded into a long size land die 12 from an extruder 11. A melted resin is passed through the long size land die by injecting a triethylene glycol as a lubricant. At the same time, the melted resin is heated to 180 deg.C and cross-linked. Filling with the triethylene glycol, the melted resin is extruded into a liquid container 13 which has a liquid head pressure of 2.5kg/cm<2> near an inlet 131. The melted resin is cooled and cured so as to obtain a foaming molded body 3. The foaming molded body 3 is led into a heating device 14, heated to 230 deg.C and foamed so as to obtain a foam 4. |
