<p>PURPOSE:To provide a scrap feed device into a blast furnace constituted so that the fed material distribution can optionally be controlled an the scrap can be fed without accompanying shock on the raw material surface in the furnace, at the time of feeding the scrap of larger shape than the present raw material for blast furnace. CONSTITUTION:As the constitution of the feed device, a bucket 17 tiltably fitted at the tip part of an arm 16 so as to be freely swung and extended/shrunk on the horizontal plane at near the furnace opening hole is provided. The scrap S is received into the bucket 17 from a hopper 9 and the arm 16 is extended or swung and shifted to the optional position on the surface of the raw material M in the furnace and the bucket 17 is tilted so as to be possible to feed the optional quantity. By this method, as the scrap can be dropped without developing the shock so as not to disturb density distribution of the raw material already changed, the excess scraps can be reused as the resource in the extremely high efficiency.</p> |
